Customers can pay utility payments during business hours by credit or debit card by phone (812-254-2730) or in person at the Utility Office. Or, payments may be made over the internet (www.washingtonin.us). Also, PayGov.US has a free app available to make payments possible on your electronic device (PLC #3146). PayGOV.us assesses a nominal convenience fee for processing these transactions. Fees are 3%, with a minimum of $2.00 for transactions under $67.00. Customers may also make utility payments via PayGOV.US 24/7 Live Operators (866-480-8552). The fee for this service is 4.95%, with a minimum $3.00 fee. American Express, MasterCard, Discover, and VISA, along with debit card carrying a MasterCard or VISA are accepted by the program. |
