The City of Washington is looking to hire a full-time Water Superintendent to Supervise and Manage the Water Department including the Water Treatment Plant.
Management experience is required of the applicant as well as; interpersonal skills, be a team player and an energetic starter. A Class WT3 and DSL certification in water distribution and treatment plant operation is preferred but not required. Applications can be picked up and returned to the Mayor’s Office, 200 Harned Avenue, Washington, IN 47501, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Application deadline is October 29, 2010. City Ordinance requires employee’s to reside no more than 10 miles from the corporate limits of the city.
