Safety discussed at Head Start

The Electric department on April 21, 2009 was invited to Head Start to participate in an in school field trip. Linemen Randy Ennis, Scott Lunsford, Stacy McClure and ground man Ryan Kenworthy took their trucks to show the kids. We demonstrated the safe operation of our bucket and line trucks. We also discussed the importance of staying away form any downed power lines and what they should do if there were to find any type of line on the ground. They seemed to really enjoy seeing the trucks at work and looking at all of our personal safety equipment. We all had a good time!
